Pillarhouse Gives Pump Choice Back To The Customer
For a number of years there have been many discussions regarding the advantages and disadvantages of mechanical versus magnetic pumps on the selective soldering process, with about 50% of selective machine manufacturers opting for each method.
Pillarhouse, have now taken this debate further through the simultaneous introduction of their latest generation mechanical pump, together with an all new revolutionary magnetic design. Customers of the new Jade Mk IV Selective Soldering System now have the ability for either pump style to be fitted to this system and by utilising the renowned Pillarhouse quick bath change design, switching between the two technologies can be facilitated within minutes. This gives the customer the benefits of both the magnetic and mechanical pumps in a single soldering system.
The design of the Pillarhouse magnetic pump has addressed the inherent issues, previously equated with this method, to give a more stable and cost effective design. Furthermore, by continuing to offer a new improved mechanical design, Pillarhouse users also benefit from using soldering methods not currently associated with the magnetic pump design i.e. 1.5mm micro nozzle and jet-wave technology.
Pillarhouse’s release of this technology, on the Jade Mk IV at APEX 2018 show, will be followed shortly by this option being available on their full range of equipment. Retrofits kits for systems in the field will also be available.
Pillarhouse will be on stand #1309.
